Living as “Me” in the Design of Creation.

Heaven knows that I am the last person to write a blog or even comment on spiritual matters as the foolishness and sinfulness in my heart should certainly disqualify me.  However, from what I understand from scripture, our frailty is what God uses to glorify Himself.  If He can save me and if He is able to lift me up and cause me to really grow and change, then I am perfectly built to bring glory to Him.  So, something about “me” is designed to allow Him to change me to be more like His Son; and of course, I believe this is true for all of us.  God does not “condemn” those in Christ, because he realizes our shortcomings and has in some fashion, beyond our understanding, accounted for this in His plan for true redemption.  So with this, we can move on to minister for the Kingdom of God.

I once heard a corporate branding consultant state, “What has the Lord promised the world, through you?”  Great question!  That very thought should lead us to be our very best for Jesus.  To realize our full potential and see God’s promises, we must do our part.  But what is that?  I believe it starts with simple submission and the understanding that we can do nothing apart from Him.  In this “submission” we inherently look for our God’s leading and hopefully in humility, search scripture and seek His stated direction.  It is here where we find true strength.  From a certain humanistic view, this would seem to be contrary to current “enlightened” reason.  For many, taking control of one’s life (in our human understanding) is where we draw “power” but, this “taking control” brings a crippling mindset.  This is prone to failure as we are so weak and inconsistent in our own contrived morality and we will continuously fail in this pursuit.  Living by spiritual, biblical principles draws upon the very design of creation, the physical and spiritual laws that constrain our existence and allow us to live optimally in this world most call “home.”
