Merry Christmas!

The Word became flesh…John 1:14

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made, In Him was life, and the life was the light of men, John 1:1-3

John 1:14: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of God.

The Angel of the Lord announces the birth of the King of king: Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people, Luke 2:10. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly hosts praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men! Luke 2:13-14

Heaven rejoices as God our Father fulfills His promise to the serpent for what he did: Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. And I will but enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. Genesis 3:14-15.

The promised birth of the Virgin Mary has finally taken place. And all of heaven rejoices. A celebration we continue to this day. When we remember Jesus, who considered not robbery to be equal with God came to save us all, Philippians 2:6.

Merry Christmas.
