Hope
Now hope does not disappoint…Romans 5:5
Why?
because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Romans 5:5.
How?
Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God, Romans 5:1 & 2
More!
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3 & 4
Therefore…
hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Romans 5:5
Consequently…
We were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance (Romans 8:24-25) rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer (Romans 12:12) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, Romans 15:13
Finally…
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love, 1 Corinthians 13:13
