You Are Loved, Pass it On

Motivation and Service

The church of 2023 is in a world of easy communication, and YOU
have the ability to influence many people whether for the good
of the Kingdom of heaven, or to it’s loss. Woe to the one who causes
any to stumble; but how do you seek to influence people for heaven?

Why was John the Baptist so strange? A Jew wearing skins and
leather was quite an attention getter. Was that the plan? Because John
the baptist had an important message that people needed to know.
You have the same message! John sought to diminish, while pointing people to Jesus, and
God provided the megaphone, (400 years earlier through Malachi!)
Luke 7:28 Malachi 4:5-6 Matthew 3:13-17

The long awaited Messiah was about to show up and people needed
to humble themselves and seek His mercy. Humility does funny things
to us. It makes us honest. Pride does the opposite: It makes us pretend;
and that is exactly the package of the hypocrite. He is wrapped up in
Himself. Baptism teaches us and reminds us to die in Christ, and then rise…

“I am the vine and you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in Him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” – Jesus John 15:5

Do you seek to influence people to see Jesus, or do you hope that
they will notice YOU? Christian child of God; you have your heavenly Father’s
full attention! What more do you need? His Holy Spirit within will teach and guide you, and you can be sure, He will get your message through! May HIS will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
