Justified by Faith

All that believe are justified…Acts 13:39

This Paul preached in Antioch in Pisidia, Acts 13:14. Paul began his sermon with the exodus from Egypt, Verse 17. Proceeding to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. In doing so, God kept His promise to Abraham and the fathers according to the Scriptures, verses 26 thru 37. Leading Paul to his statement in verses 38 and 39: Therefore, let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Therefore, we are justified by faith. Which Paul makes clear in Galatians 3:24 and Romans 5:21 and Romans 3:28: Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Whether anyone thought they could be justified by keeping the law is not the point. The point is: we are justified by faith. Furthermore, our justification by faith is not a wait-and-see process. Justification is immediate and everlasting.

The thief on the cross was justified the moment he acknowledged Jesus. He was no less justified than the apostles who gave their lives in service to Christ Jesus. You are no less justified than the thief or any of those listed in Hebrews 11. Like them, like everyone who believes, you have been justified by faith in Jesus.

Furthermore, your forgiveness is for now—today—it is not a fruit of the Spirit reserved for later. Today you stand before God fully pardoned—blameless of all sins—no sin lingers for another day. Oh, our guilt may linger, but not our justification.

Live today as the gift of life it was meant to be. Since God does not condemn you, then do not condemn yourself. There exists no spot, nor wrinkle, nor any stain from sin upon you. You are justified in Christ. While you have life to live, live it for Him!
