Jesus Said…

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

Religion says, you must take our course on sin-management. 

God says, Jesus paid for all your sins.

Religion says, you must show yourself to be faithful. 

God says, not by might, but by My Spirit.

Religion says, you must confess all your sins and sin less. 

God says, you are forgiven; sinless.

Religion says, here are our rules, obey them.

God says, here is My Son, obey Him.

Religion says, feel that, that is God in this place. 

God says, you are in My Son and He is in Me.

Religion says, look at me; 

God says, look at Jesus! 

Religion says, you are wicked and deserve hell. 

God says, you are light so walk as a child of the light. 

Religion says, you need to pay God back. 

God says, Jesus paid it all!

Religion says, work harder. 

God says, rest in My Son.

Religion says, you are a dirty rotten sinner with a rock-hard heart. 

God says, you are a new creation with a new heart and My Spirit.

Religion says, give your life to God. 

God says, My Son gave His life for you.

Religion says, you need more; government says, you need less.

God says, be content with what you have.

Religion says, you are condemned in Adam. 

God says, you are forgiven in Jesus.

Religion says, your salvation depends upon you. 

God says, you are saved in Jesus.

Religion asks, do you measure up? 

God asks, do you believe in My Son?
