Our Great Hope

When the world turns to Jesus

Since before the foundation of the world, God has been planning to make YOU like His Son Jesus, (Ro. 8:29)! Once you come to Christ, He begins relentlessly carrying this plan through until it is completed. (Philippians 1:6)

He’s always had the goal for His people to spread the word of His love and good intentions to all who would humble themselves and cry out to Him for mercy. 1Peter 2:9 “…you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” Malachi 3:12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land”.

In the book of Leviticus, our priestly role is detailed: Every priest must first be cleansed, and is given proper clothing of righteousness decorated with reminders of his favorite things! He is anointed, hand, ear, and foot, (You can easily imagine what those symbolize!)

Then; avoiding the leaven of hypocrisy/sin, and the uncleanness of this world, and always having the salt of truth, and never accepting the luxury of the fat which is like God’s Glory which He will not share. (We are followers! We follow Christ as dear children, Ephesians 5:1.)

What a huge gift He is giving us! And it makes absolutely no difference where we live, how old we are, our station in life, or even our abilities! He is calling Us to Love God with all of our life and ability, (Deut. 6:4) and “that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” (John 13:34) Imagine a world where that is the rule, not the exception!
